Light it up and down...Light it up! Lighting is important in a space. I paired a black shade with a copper base here. The shadow lighting helps to illuminate the picture above it and also projects the drama on the stainless steel desk shown which also gives off its own glow! The steel steals the show!!
Take the shot!Photography is a major way to display personality. You can add a personal touch or display a general conversation piece. I enlarged a photo in Sepia Tone and added a monochromatic color scheme. This photo is a personal touch for me because it includes the name of the town I am from. Be intentional with your design.

Color Me Natural!Paint your canvas! Here we used a neutral base on the walls to flow with the flooring. I used Lucite chairs to make the area seemless and have the appearance of space!

After...Better days!Never be afraid to dress those doors with window treatments! Here I used stained Bamboo sticks as curtain rods! The height of the rods and placing the sofa in the middle of the room draws the attention away from the tiny, ill-placed, window!
